The life of Dusty Davies starts simple. Happy family but then things begin to detereate and fall apart. she now lives her life in fear.
She never thought that the noise of foot steps would be so terrifying, she gripped her purple rucksack and started running. She stopped and turned, he was here. Her eyes darted across the moonlit street, "you couldn't just keep it shut-could you?" she squinted her eyes trying to focus on the hooded figure in the shadows. "I...I... Didn't mean to, they asked me the question . You know I am not good at lying". How did he know where she was? She backed up against the garden wall as the figure was getting closer. she felt his breath on her face and he could sense she was scared. " what's the matter? Scared I am going to HURT you?" she flinched as he put his hand in the air, still gripping her rucksack with both of her sweating palms. She looked to the left as a car approached the side of the road . If only she could just scream help. She knew in a matter of hours she would be 6 foot under in Epping Forrest but any chance she got, she took. She looked back at the figure and noticed his eyes were glued to the car coming , this was it . Her chance. She dashed for her front door, she knew she would be safer in there. She had got to the front door, and unlocked it but right when she thought it was all over a foot caught the closing door and a hand grabbed Dusty's hair. This was not change for her, she had got in fights with her dad before. She screams as he smashed his way Into the house. " I gave you everything. I gave you a home, food, a life" dusty backs up to wall wondering how long she has left. His arm extends high in the air and the sheer sight of it brings memories for dusty. Blow after blow, she lies there. He stops and stares at his once beautiful little girl, the girl he used to play scrabble with and have mini dances with in her underwear. Where have them times gone? Tears pouring off her face, once again. She thought this would be over now, she thought that her dad would stop. Clearly not. His right hand raised one last time and gives her a fatal blow to the head. That's it, she's out like a light. Will anyone believe her?
i will try and post a paragraph of Dusty Davies life every Friday x
